Glad we choose this hospital as it was easy for us to get to and not so stressful for daughter to trac too.

Great experience

we thoroughly appreciated the experience at the portland from antenatal to post-partum. All the staff from Labour, midwives, NICU etc were all exceptional. Very professional with great bedside manner and very friendly which made the experience of staying in the hospital for 9 days manageable. Their care for the baby and mother were top notch and we felt comfortable knowing that our baby was in good hands at all times.

The standard of care that we received at The Portland was outstanding. Every midwife and team member that we encountered was just amazing and made our stay so special. When I developed post-birth complications, the team went above and beyond to look after myself and my baby and we really could not have asked for a more supportive medical team.

The Portland Hospital is an excellent hospital. I was admitted twice during my pregnancy, once early on due to hyperemesis gravidarum and the second time for the birth. All of the staff were very warm and caring, and made me feel very well looked after. The facilities are excellent, it was great for my husband to have his own bed that he could stay in at the hospital with me. The food was delicious (and not just for hospital food), we ate very well while we were staying there. At all times the priority was given to my comfort and my preferences. When my son had to go to the NICU for the first 4 days they gave us extra support, and were there at all feedings/changings to help out and instruct us. As first time parents it was wonderful having the guidance and support of all of the wonderful staff members to help us navigate this new experience.

The client info is always wrong even updated at reception, just repeatedly happens, even those info was provided in email in advance and not hand-written.
