The doctors and the nurses are amazing!

Would highly recommend CRGH for fertility treatment.

At first we had an issue with communication with the first doctor we were assigned but the COO sorted it out quiet quickly and we were able to continue with treatment. The second doctor we were assigned seems to be more responsive to the needs and concerns of patients based abroad who come into the UK specifically for treatment. For my first egg collection I was supposed to have received a call/message from theatre telling me what time to arrive but I didn’t receive any communication, so I had to call the emergency number to get advice. Sometimes the nurses don’t use gloves when drawing blood which isn’t safe for them but maybe the gloves irritate their skin. Other than that it’s been good. Staff are generally very friendly. The phlebotomist is always in a good mood. There was one lady who did my scan where they push saline into the uterus which is a very uncomfortable test, and she was so kind and reassuring she made the experience bearable. The wait times haven’t been bad. Some of the receptionists make an effort to make a personal connection and make you smile - it’s helpful to make a tense situation lighter. I would come back again.

Very supportive and friendly staff, nurses in particular. I felt supported from the beginning, deciding on the treatment, and all through the procedures. One area of potential improvement is to make it very clear how out of hours access works and how to get hold of a doctor if necessary.

Generally I have been pleased with the experience I have at CRGH. Reception staff and nurses are always incredibly polite and helpful.
