Upkeep of the hospital could be better.

A brilliantly clean hospital and the receptionists are brilliant. Waiting times are hit and miss but you are kept informed if they are running late. The nurses on the ward are good, much better than any NHS treatment but they do have some knowledge gaps and I believe more experienced nurses are required on the ward to help patients feel reassured post surgery, for instance the removal of my drain was a bit of a palava and the nurse had to call a doctor, could have really done without that when I was already in pain from my surgery.

I found all staff to be helpful and friendly. During the day and night following my operation staff helped immediately when I felt uncomfortable and nauseous. Would definately use Spire Hartswood again if the need arose.
