Although I was apprehensive about a full knee operation, the welcome, care and attention I received from the Balborough staff was second to none. Every concern and need was catered for and the operation went so well, it was over before I could blink. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. The surgeon was great and the nursing staff were so attentive, polite and really cared. The after care was all in place and appointments arranged. I was in and out in just over 24 hrs from going into theatre. What more could one wish for.

Very happy with my first experience of private medicine with Practice Plus Barlborough. Only reason all not rated excellent was the 6 + hour wait on the way for my operation I fully understand & appreciate why this happened and in the scheme of things, irrelevant. The staff are very attentive the coffee shop is very nice. It isn't like going to a standard hospital you are appreciated for going there.

Apart from having to wait 11 weeks from consultation, I am very satisfied with the prep, anaesthetic, operation, recovery, anaesthetist, surgeon and all the nursing team involved. 5 star treatment and worth going self funding as I’m sure I would have had a much longer waiting time on NHS waiting list.
