From the moment I had my initial first consultation with Mr Sheehan to my Cataract surgery with Mr El-Ashry the professionalism in making me at ease was second to none, I was by far not the easiest of patients to due a extremely sensitive right eye to artificial light but they had the patience to make things more bearable. After 8 weeks I had a minor complication but the aftercare was perfect too and my eye now sees 20 20 for the first time in my life, totally life changing as I can now play sport with no need for glasses!!

Cataract removal.. Very quick and efficient procedure, reasonable cost which included transport by taxi, there and home. I did feel it was a little supermarket-ish. But better than waiting for the NHS

They made a really traumatic time bearable and i felt confident that if i used their (private/paid for) services, I would not regret it and 3 months on, I certainly haven't. I have recently had cataract removal surgery with Newmedica, Bristol. I thought the whole experience was very professionally handled from the moment I entered the clinic for my initial assessment to the moment I left the building having had my surgery three weeks later. Everyone involved with the process could not be more concerned for my welfare and well being. In addition the advice, medication, the follow up phone calls and final examination some four weeks later were all carried out in a very professional manner. As for my eyesight the result of which has surpassed everything I had hoped for and more. Well done Newmedica and thanks for a wonderful result.
