My very first hospital stay and I was very impressed. All staff were really nice and caring and I felt I was in good hands.

It is a clean and nice hospital.

I attended for several consultations with a surgeon and an emergency operation. The check in procedure was swift, and I did not have to wait long. I was checked in to a room for a few hours to wait before and recover after the operation. The room was fine. My only minor criticism is that one of the nurses said "you are brave" when I said that I was having an vitrectomy operation under local anaesthetic. This could have induced unnecessary apprehension, and contradicted the advice of the surgeon that I would not feel or see anything, which proved to be the case.
