Effective and efficient

All staff were friendly, efficient and caring. Excellent service.

When I went for my initial consultation with Mr. Aslam and subsequent visits pre-operation, I was always seen on time in an efficient and courteous manner. Despite covid precautions in the Hospital being practiced at the time of my admission, all the staff were very friendly and I was provided with a very comfortable private room early on the day of my operation. Post operation, the nursing care was excellent and with good physiotherapy I was able to be discharged the following day. Follow up physio appointments were made efficiently and the staff always made themselves available to offer telephone advice if required.

I had a hip replacement. I was terrified of the operation but the staff were all very friendly and helpful, explained everything kindly and clearly. They put me at my ease as I went for the operation and the anaesthetist actually managed to make me laugh! After the operation everyone was kind and helpful. The nurses explained how I would manage at home, showing me how to dress etc. The physiotherapist was friendly and explained everything clearly. Follow-up visits to the physiotherapists have also been fine. The team members explained everything to me and answered all my questions - even picking up emails sent to them weeks after my discharge. Just excellent all round

I have had 2 Total Knee Replacements in the last 12 months, both at the BMI Droitwich Hospital. I received excellent care from all members of the team in all areas of the hospital. I would highly recommend it.

The service was excellent and the staff were always friendly and professional.

Under the extraordinary circumstance surrounding Covid 19 the hospital dealt with me very well. It wasn’t their fault my family couldn’t visit or come with me to appointments which would have been the only other thing I would have liked. My only criticism would be, and again due to Covid I believe, I had to be in the hospital at 07:30 and had nothing to eat from the night before or drink from 06:00 and then didn’t have my operation until late afternoon when I was decidedly hungry and very thirsty.

The out patient department was very busy each time I attended.

Quick and easy start to finish. Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
