I travelled from Bristol the evening before treatment due to the early start. I felt the care a received during my time as a day patient was very good.

Friendly and efficient

I had an excellent experience in this hospital and found all the staff to be kind and totally understanding whilst you feel at your most vulnerable post-op. The only negative aspect for us was the difficulty of car parking.

Very good experience at Mount Alvernia. Reception was business like but friendly. The waiting area is comfortable and I was seen in a timely manner.

Disappointing, was checked in and then waited 25 minutes. Whilst sat in the waiting room received a voicemail to say that I was double booked and could not be seen. Upon calling the secretary and explaining I’d been checked in, taken the day off and took 90mins to get to the hospital was told nobody could see me for another 2 weeks. I was then told someone would come and speak to me. Whilst waiting I could hear staff talking about me behind a screen at reception as if I wasn’t there, and as if I was an inconvenience. My appointment was booked on line, I had an email confirmation and had been checked in! These things happen however it could have been handled very differently! Spoke to my insurer who gave me another contact and received a completely different experience at The Surrey Park Clinic, it couldn’t have been more different.
