All staff in general very friendly and helpful as usual, and I felt very well-looked after. However, I was disappointed when I saw an extra £30 on my bill that I'd been charged for an X-ray. At no point was I consulted that this was an additional paid service and staff were deceitful about this, merely asking me if I was "comfortable" with having an X-ray (knowing that had I disputed the fee retrospectively, they would be able to say that I was asked beforehand) saying I needed one as it had been three years since my last. In no way either by tone nor actual words was there an indication that this would incur an additional fee. Unfortunately, this betrayal of lost is enough for me to move practise. Great hygiene though!
We hugely apologise for the lack of clarity here and the way in which this was handled. We pride ourselves on our communication but clearly we failed at this appointment. I am extremely sorry that you felt that the staff were deceitful, that absolutely was not our intention.
