Butterfield Osteopathy offers a range of expertise within their practice, with incredibly high professional standards and care for patients. I suffered a severe ankle sprain and attended the practice for various treatments through the period of over a year. As months passed, I could notice the benefit of regular therapy, carried over at weekly intervals. Maria and David followed my rehabilitation personally, developing valuable relationships through time. Their approach included everyday advice outside the treatments and decisively supported my recovery. After such a long and intense recovery, I went back to full mobility and use of my ankle. I’ll be always grateful for their continued support!

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.
