I saw Dr Chapman today with my 9-year-old little girl. I am quite hard to impress so the fact that I have given Dr Chapman 5 stars across the board should be taken as significant rather than a casual rating without much thought attached. Dr Chapman was recommended to me as a 'solid' paediatrician. I found him to have a great bedside manner, talking to both myself and my daughter on our respective levels but without at any point being patronising to either. He seemed to be very knowledgable and managed to piece together and explain all of the symptoms which we were experiencing in a logical, accessible and reassuring way. The main reason for our visit was to sense-check our actions to date, see whether any further treatment was recommended and also to discern (which is not at all easy) between following up reasonable lines of investigation on the one hand and not going down rabbit holes unnecessarily on the other. Dr Chapman navigated that distinction in a manner which gave me complete confidence and was able to answer all of my questions with ease and without hesitation. The consultation was unhurried and Dr Chapman listened patiently to everything which we had to say which, in itself, is very pleasing. I am someone who researches extensively, is adept at getting up to speed on technical matters very quickly and obsesses generally, let alone over my children's health and wellbeing. Probably a medical practitioners worst nightmare. I went in worried and came out with a weight lifted and with complete confidence in our course of action. I would recommend Dr Chapman unreservedly.
