Dr Yasser Ged

Dr Yasser Ged is a medical oncologist dedicated to the care of patients with genitourinary malignancies. Their clinical and research focus is on the management of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Dr Ged completed Advanced Medical Oncology Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Dr Ged has acted as site principal investigator (PI) for a number of clinical trials, including CONTACT-03, which investigated atezolizumab combined with cabozantinib versus cabozantinib alone after immune checkpoint therapy in patients with advanced kidney cancer. They are also the site PI for the natural history study, NCCAPS, which is investigating the effects of COVID-19 on cancer patients.
