Mr Waleed Mohammed

Mr Waleed Mohammed is a Consultant Urologist based in County Kerry, Ireland. He specialises in treating a variety of urological conditions including benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and also works in general and paediatric urology. He has a specialist interest in endourology, where minimally invasive surgical techniques are used to diagnose and treat conditions of the urinary tract. His clinical expertise allows him to successfully treat a wide range of conditions affecting the urological tract. 

Mr Mohammed gained his degree in Medicine from the University of Khartoum in 2001. He began working in Ireland in 2007, where he completed his MRCS in 2008. Following this, he gained further specialist training in urology through pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Edinburgh which he completed in 2014. He has worked in many hospitals across Ireland including the Mercy Hospital Cork, Tallaght University Hospital and Beaumont Hospital, where he gained clinical experience. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgery in Ireland in Urology, and additionally holds membership with the Irish Society of Urology and the European Association of Urology.
