Ms Ursula Daly is a Psychotherapist and Counsellor in Dublin, offering confidential therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. She provides a compassionate, client-centred approach that helps individuals explore challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, anger and stress management, while fostering personal growth and emotional resilience.
Holding a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and an MSc in Creative Arts Therapies, Ursula brings academic rigour and creativity to her therapeutic work. She has a Certificate from THE Centre of Mind Body Medicine ( Dr James Gordon Maryland USA) which focusses on mind, body and behaviour. She also works with people struggling with eating disorders, providing support and guidance on their road to recovery. She is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (M.I.A.C.P.).
Her therapeutic style combines psychotherapy and counselling techniques to help clients understand how their past experiences influence present emotions and behaviours. She places particular emphasis on the mind–body connection, encouraging holistic awareness and practical coping strategies.
Her Dublin practice focuses on recovery, healing, and helping clients move towards greater self-awareness, autonomy, and emotional well-being in a confidential and supportive environment. Ursula works with the inner child, anxiety, relationships, and eating disorders to name but a few, putting importance on relationships, attachments, helping the client work towards awareness and authenticity without giving up their integrity. Our early experiences with love and attachment can leave a lasting imprint on the neural pathways.
Beliefs and values are keys to therapeutic transformation, as a surprising amount of emotional struggles often stem from unacknowledged values and conflicts.

I’ve known Ursula for six years now. My journey with her started almost by accident; it wasn’t something I was looking for at the time, but looking back, meeting her was one of the most important events of my life. It hasn’t always been an easy road. It’s been a difficult journey of self-discovery with plenty of bumps along the way. But without Ursula’s help, guidance, and her genuine patience with me, I simply wouldn’t be the person I am today. I will be forever grateful to her for not giving up on me and for pushing me to see myself the way she saw me. While it usually takes a long time to trust a counselor, I felt an instant connection with her. She is warm and caring, her insights are always right on point, and she knows how to be tough when she needs to be. What I love most is how she can steer our conversations to places I didn't even know I wanted to go. I still go back to her whenever I feel the need. It doesn’t happen that often anymore—which makes me happy and a little sad at the same time, because I’m always genuinely happy to see her. Each time we talk, I learn something new about myself. The journey never really ends, and I think we all need someone like Ursula in our lives to listen and help us get back on the right track.

Thank you for your review! I am very grateful to you for taking the time to write such heartfelt words!!
I worked with Ursala Daly from 2018 to 2024 during a difficult divorce. Her support was transformative. Ursala provided essential guidance on communication, helped me develop strong emotional management tools and significantly boosted my self confidence. She is compassionate, highly insightful and flexible , offering both practical advice on parenting/relationships and holistic techniques like mindfulness and breathing work. Since completing therapy, I am more confident, better at setting boundaries and more capable of managing stress. Ursala is a highly professional therapist who creates a relaxed environment. I would recommend her unconditionally.

I felt so comfortable talking to Ursula and was able to share all my feelings without feeling judged as if sitting with an old friend . I poured my heart out to her and felt so at ease doing that. The sessions flew in and sometimes went over the time but I never felt she was just doing her job but rather really getting involved in what I was telling her. She is so genuine and easy to connect with.

I can’t recommend Ursula highly enough. She genuinely cares about her patients and consistently goes above and beyond. During one of the most difficult periods of my life my separation she was an incredible source of support, guidance, and clarity. Ursula helped me navigate not only my own emotions, but also how to maintain a healthy, loving relationship with my young children during such a sensitive time. Her empathy, insight, and dedication made a real difference when I needed it most. I’m deeply grateful for her support and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking a truly caring and committed psychotherapist.
