Mr Tim Whelan

Mr. Tim Whelan is a dedicated provider of neuromuscular/physical and massage   therapy practicing in Wexford, with a strong focus on helping clients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore physical wellbeing. As a registered member of the Neuromuscular and Massage Therapist Register, he provides professional, client-centred care tailored to individual needs and lifestyles.

Tim works with clients experiencing a wide range of muscular and physical conditions. His treatments are designed to relieve pain caused by muscle strain, tension, spasms, and chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia. Through a combination of therapeutic techniques and movement-based rehabilitation, he aims to support long-term recovery and overall physical performance. Treatment techniques include: Neuromuscular Technique (NMT), Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Soft Tissue Release (STR), Positional Release, Orthopedic Sports Massage. The muscles of the core are major contributors to the stability of thr lower back. Pilates exercises using the principles of Pilates can be used  to train the muscles of the inner core, leading to greater mobility and strenght in the low back region.
