Ms Paula O'Reilly

Ms Paula O’Reilly is a counsellor and psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School.

She holds additional training in suicide and crisis intervention through Contra Costa County, California, as well as postgraduate study at UC Berkeley Extension in neuropsychological assessment and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) assessment and treatment.

Her clinical experience includes work with individuals and families affected by adoption, childhood trauma, eating disorders, domestic abuse, sexual trauma, grief and loss, divorce, parenting challenges, and unexpected DNA results. She also supports clients presenting with neurodevelopmental and neurodiversity-related concerns, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning difficulties, as well as issues relating to sexuality and gender identity.

Her therapeutic work includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches, with a focus on supporting clients experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and complex trauma presentations.
