Mr Shawkat Abdulrahman is a highly experienced, consultant in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery with over 14 years of clinical expertise across Ireland, Italy, Jordan, and Iraq. Renowned for his pioneering work in rhinology and sinus surgery, he is a recognised leader in endoscopic skull base procedures and aesthetic nasal surgery using both scarless and open techniques.
After graduating from Al-Mustansiriyah University in Iraq in 2003, Mr Abdulrahman undertook extensive specialist training in Jordan, gaining membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and fellowships from the European, Jordanian, and Arab Boards. He then completed advanced subspecialty training in Italy, further refining his skills in complex sinus, skull base, and facial reconstructive surgery.
Currently based in Dublin, Mr Abdulrahman provides premium ENT care, with a focus on complex adult and paediatric rhinology, and performs hundreds of surgeries annually. He is on the Irish Specialist Register and holds fellowships from both the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the American College of Surgeons.

The best surgeon
Dr Shswket operated on both myself and my daughter. We are both very happy with the outcome and I can now breath normally. Aesthetically we both look much better also. I found surgery and initial follow up a week v good although expensive Thereafrer I found it very difficult to get answers about concerns I had in the following weeks .I had to make a further consult payable visit to get answers and pay 50 excess again for him to use scope . VHI is expensive to say the least but when you add numerous payable consultations and excesses each time as well as long journeys it all adds up to huge financial expense .
