My son has been seeing Serena for the past nine months for support with his Developmental Language Disorder. Over the last five years, we have worked with numerous Speech and Language Therapists, so we have a lot of experience to compare against. We were very fortunate to come across Serena, who was highly recommended to us, and I can honestly say she is by far the best SALT my son has worked with. Serena is exceptional. Every week she uses creative, tailored techniques that are engaging, fun, and perfectly suited to my son's needs. My son absolutely loves attending his sessions and looks forward to them every week. That enthusiasm is entirely down to Serena's approach and the positive relationship she has built with him. The therapy environment is also fantastic. The location is convenient, and the therapy room is bright, colourful, welcoming, and child-centred. It doesn't feel clinical or intimidating; instead, it feels like a fun and safe space where children can learn and thrive. Serena has an excellent range of resources and activities that keep sessions engaging and enjoyable. What really stands out is Serena's ability to make learning feel natural and enjoyable while still achieving incredible progress. Our first visit with Serena was very helpful, as we were looking for a speech therapist for my 3 year old son. Serena is very warm and welcoming especially to my toddler who really liked her. Serena could answer any questions or concerns we had for our son's speech and directed us to making a plan going forward.

Serena sees my 11 year old son who has been diagnosed with development language disorder on a regular basis. I have seen significant improvements in my son’s language skills since starting with Serena. Serena spends time assessing the child in advance to identify their exact requirements. She always takes time to send me a detailed review after each session with feedback and any homework. Equally as important, my son really enjoys his sessions with Serena.
