Dr. Sandra Montano

Dr. Sandra Montano is a highly esteemed Specialist Orthodontist with an impressive academic and professional background. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) from University College Cork in Ireland and a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics from Barcelona University, Spain. She also holds advanced postgraduate qualifications, including a PhD in TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) and Occlusion, and a Postgraduate Degree in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders. 

Excelling academically, Dr. Montano was recognised as the top student in her dental class, which led to her being invited to undertake a rigorous four-year specialist training program in Orthodontics at Barcelona University, where she once again graduated at the top of her class.

With over 20 years of dedicated experience, Dr. Montano is a specialist in straightening teeth and enhancing facial aesthetics through orthodontic and orthopaedic treatments. She has also completed a prestigious residency in surgical orthodontics and jaw surgery under one of Spain's most respected Maxillofacial surgeons. Dr. Montano’s expertise spans all types of clear aligner treatments, including Invisalign, and she is recognised as a Diamond II Invisalign provider. She works with teens, children, and patients undergoing growth, offering treatments tailored to their unique needs.

Currently based in South Dublin, Dr. Montano practises at 3Dental, where she is known for her first-class orthodontic care and exceptional results. She is also actively involved in several leading professional bodies, including the Orthodontic Society of Ireland (OSI), the Spanish Society of Orthodontics (SEDO), the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the European Aligner Society (EAS), and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
