Ruth Sobreiro

Ruth Sobreiro is a dedicated Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser with over 14 years of professional experience spanning hospital, private clinic, and occupational health environments. She holds a BSc in Speech and Language Pathology and an MSc in Audiology, and is a registered member of the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (ISHAA).

Originally from Brazil, Ruth relocated to Ireland in 2017 and choosing to make Ireland her permanent home, validating her qualifications and continuing her career here. Prior to her move, Ruth co-managed a clinic alongside an ENT specialist, where her work included newborn hearing screenings using Otoacoustic Emissions testing, as well as hearing assessments for employees in the mining sector.

Currently practicing at Blackberry Hearing, Ruth specialises in diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting and dispensing, microsuction earwax removal, and patient rehabilitation. She is particularly passionate about witnessing the transformation that improved hearing brings to her patients’ lives, describing their joy and renewed confidence as her greatest motivation.

Beyond her clinical role, Ruth enjoys exploring Ireland’s landscapes with her dog, keeping active through exercise, and travelling whenever possible.
