Dr Ruth Scanlon

Dr Ruth Scanlon is the Principal Dentist at Victoria House Dental. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from University College Cork and has extensive experience across hospital, private practice, and NHS dental settings.

Following her dental qualification, Dr Scanlon gained clinical experience within the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at University Hospital Limerick, before continuing her career in private dentistry and the NHS in Scotland. After many years of dental practice in Limerick, she founded Victoria House Dental in 2016, where she continues to provide patient-focused dental care.

Dr Scanlon has a particular clinical interest in cosmetic dentistry and endodontics and is committed to ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of treatment and patient care.

She is recognised for her calm and reassuring approach, with a focus on creating a comfortable environment where patients feel informed and confident throughout their dental treatment.
