Ms Petra O’Neill is a dedicated psychotherapist with six years of experience supporting adults and older individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. She holds a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, reflecting both her academic excellence and commitment to high-quality care.

Petra adopts an integrative, person-centred approach to therapy, tailoring each session to the unique needs, experiences, and goals of her clients. Her work is grounded in the belief that therapy should foster hope, helping individuals reconnect with a sense of meaning and purpose that may have been lost during difficult times.

She draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and integrative methods, allowing her to adapt her practice to best support each individual.

Petra has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients and their families, offering compassionate support for those navigating diagnoses and related challenges. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, and relationship difficulties, providing a safe, supportive space for healing, growth, and self-understanding. Petra recognises both the unique and universal challenges that life transitions present, which require a safe and supportive space within which to navigate.
