Dr. Peter Dwyer

Dr Peter Dwyer is the Owner and Lead Dentist, and a highly experienced General Dental Surgeon with over 32 years of clinical practice across Westmeath, London and Dublin. He graduated from the Dublin Dental Hospital, Trinity College Dublin in 1987, earning his BA and B.Dent.Sc., and has spent the past 17 years providing general and emergency dentistry at Frederick Dental Clinic.

Known for his relaxed and friendly manner, Dr Dwyer is particularly appreciated by both adults and children for his calm approach. He has a special interest in helping nervous patients feel at ease, ensuring that every stage of treatment is clearly explained beforehand. He takes time to answer questions thoroughly so patients feel informed, reassured and confident before any procedure begins.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Dr Dwyer holds a Certificate in Orthodontics from Warwick University (2015) and provides orthodontic treatment for both adults and children. He also achieved a distinction in his Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics from the University of Glasgow, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence. In addition, he completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics in 2019, further enhancing his expertise in root canal treatment.
