Dr. Paula Sinnott

Dr Paula Sinnott is a Specialist and Consultant Orthodontist based in Dublin. She graduated with an Honours degree in Dentistry from Cork University Dental Hospital in 2014 before gaining experience in general practice and as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

She completed three years of full-time specialist orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London, obtaining a Master’s degree in Orthodontics with distinction from University College London. During this period, she also achieved Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of both Edinburgh and London. She subsequently entered the national Consultant Orthodontist training programme at the University of Bristol Dental Hospital, completing her Fellowship in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons.

As a Consultant Orthodontist, Dr Sinnott manages a wide range of orthodontic conditions, including complex bite problems requiring combined surgical and restorative care. She also holds a Fellowship in Aligner Therapy.

Dr Sinnott is actively involved in education, teaching orthodontics and dentistry through her affiliation with Trinity College Dublin. Her work has been recognised with multiple awards from the European, Irish and British Orthodontic Societies, including the Professor W.J.B. Houston Award, the S.P. Jones Award and the Best Clinical Effectiveness Award.
