Patrick O’Connor graduated from Trinity College Dublin Dental School with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1992 and began his career in Kent, England, where he spent five years working in a practice dedicated to caring for nervous and anxious patients. In 1996, he completed advanced training in dental sedation with SAAD (The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry) and is now a member of the society. This qualification enables him to provide Twilight Sedation, making dental treatment more comfortable and accessible for patients with dental anxiety or phobia.
In 1997, Patrick returned home to Sligo to join the family practice, following in the footsteps of his father Jimmy and grandfather Paddy. Today, he continues their legacy at O’Connor Moore Dental Practice, where he combines a compassionate approach with the latest in dental techniques and technology.

My experience was very positive. Again, I feel that the dental issue that I presented with was'nt straight forward. After assessing the situation Dr O'Connor took time to discuss the situation, exploring the options and offering advice which helped me to decide on a course of action which will give the tooth in question the best chance of survival and also provide some element of futureproofing
Dr Patrick and his nurse were so professional and caring , felt in good hands and he said you shouldn’t feel a thing and I didn’t 🙏
Patrick is an excellent dentist, very professional and one of the best in the country.
Paddy is a different class. Like his father Jimmy, a true gentleman. But it's the whole package that exceeds. Paddy will tell you exactly what needs to be done and is very upfront with costs. Again, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I even sent my two teenagers into O Connor Moore, without hesitation. Well done.
Definitely 5 stars out of 5. Have recommended this dental surgery to my friends and colleagues.
