Mark Blachfield is a Chartered and state-registered physiotherapist with a background in sports science, strength and conditioning, and clinical rehabilitation. He graduated from Dublin City University (DCU) in 2015 with an honours degree in Sports Science & Health before gaining experience in strength and conditioning and personal training in Indianapolis, USA.
Motivated to further support his clients, he pursued a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2019. Since qualifying, he has developed a broad skill set in managing musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on helping patients recover function and maintain long-term physical health.
Mark has a strong interest in exercise-based rehabilitation and is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery and overall wellbeing. He commonly treats a range of musculoskeletal issues, with specific experience in managing neck and back pain, including whiplash-associated disorders.
His approach combines evidence-based physiotherapy with tailored exercise programmes, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain and support patients in leading active and independent lifestyles. Outside of his professional work, he maintains a strong interest in sport.
