Ms Mairead Ryan

Ms Mairead Ryan is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, and a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She runs a private practice based in Drogheda, offering both in-person and online sessions, where she supports clients in navigating a range of emotional and psychological challenges.

With a strong academic foundation, Ms Ryan holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, alongside a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Certificate in Counselling Skills, and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She practices from a person-centred approach, creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.

Ms Ryan has a particular interest in working with anxiety and is trained in The Clearing Method, an approach developed by Shauna Quigley that focuses on identifying and healing the root causes of emotional pain. She completed the Emotional Mastery and Anxiety and Panic programmes before advancing to full Clearing Method practitioner training. This approach has become a key part of her work, enabling her to help clients achieve deeper, lasting change and improved emotional wellbeing.
