Dr Luke Thebe

Dr Luke Thebe is a General Practitioner and healthcare professional with extensive experience in primary care services in Ireland. He is the founder of Fionn Medical Centre, where he currently works as a self-employed GP, providing general medical consultations and community-based healthcare.

Alongside his clinical role, Dr Thebe has been involved in multiple healthcare and administrative positions across Ireland’s primary care and urgent care systems. He has worked with Midoc in Athlone as a GP, providing out-of-hours and urgent primary care services since 2021. His broader clinical experience also includes locum general practice work, medical officer roles in nursing home care, and assistant GP positions in various practices across County Offaly and County Westmeath.

Dr Thebe previously spent nearly a decade within the Health Service Executive (HSE) training and service system, progressing through roles including Non-Consultant Hospital Doctor (NCHD), medical intern, and junior doctor positions. This extensive training provided broad exposure to acute medicine, general practice, and hospital-based care.

In addition to his clinical work, he has experience in healthcare management and business leadership, including his role as Managing Director of Kaneasa Ltd.
