Dr. Luana O'Connor

Dr Luana O’Connor is a Dentist working in Dublin. She specialises in dental implants, which she became a recognised practitioner for in 2006, and typically places over 700 dental implants each year. She is therefore highly experienced in dental implantology and has provided implants for a wide range of patients. She is the CEO of her dental practice which operates in multiple countries, and has significant experience in business management. Her expertise in implantology allows her to provide high-quality dental care for her patients, informed by modern techniques. 

Dr O’Connor earned her degree in Dentistry from the Universitatea Titu Maiorescu in 1998. She therefore has nearly 30 years of experience working as a dentist. She additionally holds a Master’s degree in Implantology from the University of Bucharest, which provides her with specialist expertise in this field.  Outside of her clinical work, she acts as the LuraSmile European Clinical Director for Dental Product Development, and runs training classes for dentists learning to use their products as well as contributing to assessing and maintaining quality of their products. This role reflects her dedication to education and quality improvement within her field, which enables her to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental implantology, informing her approach to patient care.
