Lorna Boyle is an accredited psychotherapist working with adults experiencing a broad range of emotional, psychological, and life-related challenges. She supports clients dealing with anxiety, depression, bereavement, pregnancy and infant loss, stress, cultural and identity issues, fertility challenges, and health-related difficulties. Her practice focuses on providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences and develop greater clarity and self-understanding.
Lorna is an integrative psychotherapist who works primarily from psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive-behavioural perspectives. This approach allows her to tailor therapy to each individual, drawing on different therapeutic models to address both present-day difficulties and underlying patterns. She incorporates a combination of reflective dialogue, creative interventions, and gentle but compassionate challenge to help clients see their concerns from new and constructive perspectives.
In her therapeutic work, Lorna aims to support clients in building resilience, developing healthier coping strategies, and moving toward a more balanced and meaningful way of living.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP Dublin and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from CityLit, London. Lorna’s training emphasises the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical, evidence-based skills, enabling her to work effectively with diverse emotional and relational issues.
Before beginning her private practice, Lorna worked in NHS addiction services in East London, and with psychotherapy practice Donnybrook Therapy Plus Blackrock. She continues to work with FirstLight, a charity supporting parents and families who have experienced the death of their child.

I went to Lorna for just over a year and found her to be exactly the therapist I needed. Having previously found it difficult to connect with therapists I found she really listened, help space for silence and also challenged me in my thinking. My life is exceptionally better and my relationships are so much healthier as a direct result of the work I did with Lorna

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words. So lovely to read how our work together has helped you. Wishing you all the best for your future.
Lorna supported me through a tough period in my life, following a bereavement and a difficult situation at work. I was overwhelmed, lost and probably depressed. Lorna helped me to begin to process everything I was carrying. Her warmth and insight helped me rebuild my confidence and start to accept some of the things I cannot change. I’m deeply grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone going through grief or another life challenge. Thanks Lorna.

Thank you for your kind words. It was a privilege to support you, and I’m glad our work together was helpful.
I was feeling a bit stuck in life, struggling with anxiety and demotivation. I wanted to change but wasn't sure how. I'd never been to therapy before so I was nervous, but Lorna put me at ease. Talking to her really helped me to manage my anxiety. It also gave me the confidence to make positive changes and to figure out what I want from life. I would recommend Lorna to anyone looking for a therapist who really cares.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this feedback. I'm so glad you found our time together beneficial.
My first true experience of therapy was with Lorna. I was daunted going into it but Lorna was brilliant. I couldn't recommend highly enough for helping me.

Thank you for your kind words
I find that Lorna is always able to ease my worries by reiterating my concerns back to me in much less overwhelming language. Whenever I leave a session, I feel validated, seen and like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Thanks so much for your feedback
Going to therapy has really helped me to make small positive changes in my life to help better manage my ADHD, anxiety and depression. Would really recommend giving it a go.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. Warm wishes, Lorna
Lorna was warm and welcoming in all our communications. She made me feel comfortable sharing about my life and issues I brought to therapy. Her therapy room is lovely, very comfortable and completely private.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Creating a comfortable and confidential space is very important to me, and I’m glad that this came across in our work together. I appreciate your kind words.
I would very strongly recommend Lorna. I first went to her to try and help me get over a difficult break‑up that had been affecting me for a long time. However, over the course of a few months, Lorna was able to tackle really the root of the issue which was my low self-esteem. Lorna's insights and practical tools really helped me to recognise the negative pattern of my thoughts and have made huge difference — I’ve become far more confident, positive, and have been much better able to handle stressful situations since finishing our therapy sessions. In particular, I always found that Lorna really understood me and how I was feeling meaning that it immediately felt like I was talking to a friend rather than a stranger. This feeling gave me a lot of support even outside of my weekly therapy session as I knew I would be able to discuss anything that had been causing me stress and feel understood when I saw Lorna.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of therapy. It was a pleasure working with you, and I wish you all the best for the future.
I wanted to talk about stress, anxiety and perinatal bereavement. Lorna made me feel comfortable talking about difficult thoughts and offered reassurance and alternative ways to view issues. It was very helpful and I felt supported.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad to hear that therapy was a helpful and supportive experience for you during a challenging time.
I feel incredibly lucky to have found Lorna when I did. I had avoided going to therapy for over a decade when I first met her and it is a testament to her patient and thoughtful practice that I returned week-on-week for the next year. Although I first got in touch with her in order to deal with bereavement and family issues, her kind and deliberate counselling guided me through so much more. She met me where I was at - during a very low period - and allowed me the space and time to find my bearings in therapy, while actively giving me the tools I needed to redress a decade of neglected grief. Collaterally, she thus helped me regain parts of my self I thought I'd lost, including my sense of confidence, self-esteem and optimism. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found in her a therapist who who was able to listen meaningfully to me and create the counselling experience I needed at that time.

Such a beautiful message to read as a therapist. Thank you so much for your feedback and our work together.
