Lisa Maloney

Lisa Maloney is an Occupational Therapist and co-founder/director of Neuromed Clinic. Her academic journey includes the pursuit of a PhD focused on rehabilitation in mental health at the National University Of Ireland, Galway. During this time, Lisa served as a specialist adviser to Alberta Health Services, specialising in rehabilitation and recovery strategies from 2017 to 2020. Her doctoral thesis was successfully completed in 2021.

Lisa's educational background also includes a BSc Honours degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland. She has accumulated extensive professional experience, having worked in both Northern Ireland and Galway University Hospital, Ireland. Throughout her career, Lisa has demonstrated proficiency in clinical supervision and teaching, including lecturing at the university level.

Moreover, Lisa has pursued specialised training in Addiction and Pain Management at the Centre of Mental Health (CAMH), University of Toronto, Canada. She is also trained as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) technician, highlighting her dedication to advancing therapeutic techniques. Lisa is an active member of professional organisations such as the Clinical TMS Society (CTMSS) and the Canadian Neuromodulation Society (CNS).
