Mr Liam Meates

Mr Liam Meates is a qualified psychotherapist and art therapist based in Longford town and Dublin. He offers both in-person and online sessions, providing a safe and compassionate space for individuals experiencing emotional distress. Liam works with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, relationship and family difficulties, identity issues, and work-related stress.

Liam holds a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Art Therapy and draws on a range of complementary therapeutic approaches to support his clients’ individual needs. His practice integrates person-centred psychotherapy, humanistic and integrative principles, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic methods, mindfulness, and art therapy. This holistic approach allows clients to explore their emotions creatively and connect more deeply with their sense of self.
