Hi, I’m Kevin, founder of Clearview Counselling, a private counselling and psychotherapy service based in Dublin 11. I work with both adults and adolescents, supporting people with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, depression, and grief or bereavement.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step. My aim is to offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel at ease to talk openly, explore what’s going on for you, and begin to make sense of things at your own pace.
My approach is grounded in a humanistic, person-centred perspective. I place real importance on building a genuine therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I also draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and reality therapy, tailoring how I work to best meet your individual needs.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as a Master’s in Adolescent Psychotherapy. I am a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in line with their ethical guidelines to ensure a safe, professional, and confidential service.
I have a particular interest in creative therapeutic approaches and have conducted research on the use of creative media in therapy. I am committed to ongoing professional development and continue to expand my practice through further training, with the aim of supporting you in building resilience, insight, and lasting positive change.
I offer both in-person and online sessions, depending on what feels most comfortable and convenient for you.

Always come away from each session with a new perspective and a refreshed sense of self.
My last session went very well. I felt that I could talk about anything I needed to and was much better after getting it all out. Kevin is a friendly person to chat with and very good with assisting me through all my issues/problems.
My most recent visit mirrors every visit I have had with Kevin. He allows me to direct the the conversation, focus on the areas of my life are impacting me the most. But also knows when to come back to something that may need more work. He is so very understanding and has excellent recall for research areas and therapy concepts that are applicable to the situation.
My teenage daughter is going to Kevin for a while now and he has really helped her with anxiety and fears. Kevin is amazing with her and she is very comfortable talking to him.
Kev always provides a relaxed, safe space, where its very easy to communicate
Kevins been my therapist for about two years now and at least every 2 sessions we have a discussion that has greatly improved my day to day and has helped provide so much insight into how i operate and how I can improve. Kevin always approaches a topic with the utmost care and compassion and also humour which always helps create a welcoming and safe space. I know many people whove had unpleasant experiences with theapists in the past and when i tell them to give kevin a try they all tell me it was night and day and that it was a fantastic experience
Kevin seems to have the knack of balancing pure professionalism with a caring and kind nature. He has supported my daughter for a number of years now and at our first meeting I knew immediately he was the right person to help her and I felt safe and secure in leaving her in his care. I feel very blessed that my daughter has had his support.
I would rate my experience 10/10 , I dont know where id be without Kevs help
I’ve been attending Kevin for a number of years throughout different events of life and whether it’s short term, or long term, Kevin is to the point, direct and helps directly in what is needed to progress during the sessions attended
Kevin is very helpful with great insights. He has been a great support for the last 18 months.
