Ms Kate Curtis

Kate Curtis is an acupuncturist with over 30 years’ experience, and is based in County Wexford and County Wicklow. She initially qualified as a nurse and midwife, but became interested in alternative and holistic forms of pain relief. She is able to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression and stress, and also supports those on fertility journeys, and through pregnancy.

Kate pursued further training in a variety of methods including Reflexology, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Reiki, Qigong and Taichi. She completed an internship at Nanjin University Hospital and continues to train under a specialist in Classical Acupuncture, herbal medicine and Qigong. She has trained as a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator and has established training programmes in this area.

Kate has experience creating multidisciplinary holistic healing centres, including establishing an acupuncture department at an Irish fertility centre. Due to her large variety of skills she is able to work holistically and intuitively with those who access her services dependent on their needs. Kate has worked on the board of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland, who regulate and maintain a register of fully qualified and insured acupuncturists.
