Mr John Trench

Mr. John Trench is a qualified psychotherapist with a background in holistic counselling and a strong commitment to supporting emotional wellbeing in adults aged 18 and over. He holds a BA in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from ICPPD (2020) and a BCom from the University of Galway (2014), combining academic insight with a practical, client-focused approach to mental health support.

He has gained valuable experience working in settings such as Galway University and Let’s Get Talking, providing counselling services to a diverse range of clients with varying emotional and psychological needs. His work covers a broad spectrum of presenting issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.

John practices from an integrative and person-centred therapeutic framework, meaning he tailors his approach to suit the unique needs of each individual. A key part of his philosophy is the belief that spirituality can also play a valuable role in maintaining psychological wellbeing for some individuals.
