Ms Helena Hore

Ms Helena Hore is a humanistic counsellor who believes deeply in each person’s innate capacity for healing. She views every individual as unique, recognising that clients respond to life’s challenges in different ways. Guided by this philosophy, she supports clients in reconnecting with their own resilience, offering the additional guidance and space needed for healing.

Helena provides a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences openly. Her practice centres on acceptance, empathy, and genuine relational connection, allowing clients to feel heard, understood, and supported.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Coventry University, a Diploma in Counselling, and a BA in Applied Social Studies in Social Care. Helena is also an accredited counsellor with the RNIB Counselling for Sight Loss (CFSL). Her training informs an integrative and flexible therapeutic approach, drawing from humanistic, person-centred, relational, existential, and phenomenological models, as well as both short-term and long-term face-to-face work.

Helena has extensive experience supporting clients through a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions and suicidal ideation. With compassion and presence at the core of her work, Helena is committed to helping clients move toward greater clarity, empowerment, and emotional wellbeing.
