Mr Gothandan Ramalingam

Gothandan Ramalingam is an experienced Occupational Therapist with more than 25 years of international clinical experience working across health, social care, and rehabilitation settings. Throughout his career, he has worked with children, adults, and older people in non-governmental organisations (NGOs), government healthcare services, and private practice environments.

Mr Ramalingam worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Health Service Executive, where he provided assessment, rehabilitation, and support services for adults and older people as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Alongside his public healthcare role, he collaborates with various agencies through private practice to deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions aimed at maximising independence, function, and quality of life.

His broad professional background includes working with individuals across different age groups and care settings, enabling him to develop expertise in functional assessment, rehabilitation, activity-based interventions, and person-centred care. He adopts a holistic approach that focuses on helping individuals participate more effectively in everyday activities and achieve meaningful personal goals.

Mr Ramalingam maintains professional registration and adheres to the codes of conduct and ethical standards established by the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland, All India Occupational Therapists' Association, CORU, and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
