Prof. Feras Saadeh

Prof. Saadeh graduated with a medical degree (MB ChB) from Sebha Medical University in 2000. They then undertook five years of postgraduate training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Maqased Hospital in Jerusalem before relocating to Ireland in 2005.

Prof. Saadeh has held a lecturing position at Cork University Maternity Hospital, where they played a crucial role in undergraduate teaching and the establishment of the nation's first robotic theatre.

Their research laboratory is situated at the Institute of Molecular Medicine at Trinity College Dublin. Their primary research areas include biomarkers for ovarian cancer, cancer-associated thrombosis, and complex reconstructive pelvic surgery. Their work has been featured in numerous peer-reviewed international journals.

Prof. Saadeh is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK), the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP).
