Ms Emer Speiser is a fully accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist and the founder of Liberty Counselling, based in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. She provides a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where individuals can explore challenges, build resilience, and work towards meaningful change.
Before training as a therapist, Ms Speiser spent many years working across a range of industries in people-focused roles. These experiences shaped her deep appreciation for the complexity of human experience and the often unseen struggles individuals carry.
As an integrative therapist, Ms Speiser does not adopt a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, she draws from multiple evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to each client’s needs, pace, and personal story. Her work integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches, allowing flexibility and depth in addressing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. She supports clients navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and more complex or difficult-to-define challenges.
Ms Speiser is committed to delivering high-quality mental health support within her local community. In addition to her private practice, she also works as a counsellor with Headway Ireland in Limerick, supporting individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury.
She holds a First Class Honours BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy (QQI Level 8) and is fully accredited with the APCP. Ms Speiser is fully qualified, insured, and dedicated to providing ethical, thoughtful, and client-centred therapy that empowers individuals to feel heard, supported, and understood.
