Ms Debra Davies is a Core Process Psychotherapist with 35 years of experience supporting individuals through profound personal transformation. Her work centres on helping clients heal the effects of stress, anxiety and trauma, guiding them toward greater peace, confidence, fulfilment and emotional wellbeing.
Debra trained at the Karuna Institute, completing her postgraduate psychotherapy qualification in 1994. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Warwick (1982) and received full teaching registration from the Teaching Council of Ireland in 2014. Alongside her psychotherapy practice, she is an experienced facilitator and qualified teacher, bringing depth, clarity and compassion to both group and individual learning environments.
Over the course of her career, Debra has worked with a wide range of organisations and has facilitated numerous private courses. For the past eighteen years, she has taught further education programmes for adults with the Cork Education and Training Board, including courses tailored for adults with special needs.
Her therapeutic expertise spans many areas, including trauma, abuse, addiction, anger management, chronic illness, identity issues, OCD, bereavement, depression, phobias, family and relationship difficulties, and work-related stress. Debra is known for her attuned, holistic approach, supporting each client with warmth, presence and deep respect for their innate capacity to heal.

Debra is a warm, caring , person who listens without judgement. She has supported me through some difficult times and has always been there for me through thick and thin.
