The staff in the endoscopy department define what nursing care is at its best. Prof. Cheriyan and his team took great care of me throughout the whole procedure. I would have preferred some more sedation throughout the procedure. Before I was discharged and had fully recovered from the sedation Prof. Cheriyan came to me and explained what he had found during his examination. This was most helpful as previously this was explained to me when I was still recovering from the sedation and nothing was remembered by me.

I had a follow up endoscopy to check my stomach. As usual Prof Cheriyan explained the procedure and after care. Following the procedure he spoke to me about his finding in a clear and courteous manner. I was a little nervous but after speaking to Prof Cheriyan I was 100% at ease.
