Prof. Daniel Cagney

Prof. Cagney is a specialist in the field of stereotactic radiation. Their areas of expertise include the management of breast, genitourinary, thoracic and gastrointestinal malignancies. Prof. Cagney is also interested in researching the integration of systemic therapies with stereotactic radiation. They are also researching the development of a biomarker glossary from CNS tumours.

Prof. Cagney has identified a previously unreported pattern of intracranial failure in neuro-oncology. They initiated the first trial to assess the safety and efficacy of combination stereotactic radiation and nanoparticles for patients with centrally located NSCLC and pancreatic cancer.
