Mr Colin Lloyd

Mr Colin Lloyd is an experienced physiotherapist with over 25 years of clinical practice. He graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, in 1995. Following his initial work in Australia, he spent five years in the United States, where he specialised in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through an IFOMT-accredited clinical residency programme. During this time, he also achieved Board Certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

In 2001, Mr Lloyd relocated to Ireland and took over Leixlip Physiotherapy Clinic the following year. Since 2004, he has managed and practised at both Leixlip Physiotherapy Clinic and Grafton Physiotherapy Clinic in Dublin.

Mr Lloyd’s clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, including back, neck, and joint pain, sports injuries, chronic pain, and headaches. He is also highly skilled in dry needling, myofascial release techniques, vestibular rehabilitation, and the treatment of foot pain.

With a focus on evidence-based, hands-on therapy, Mr Lloyd provides comprehensive assessments and personalised treatment plans aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term recovery. He continues to be an active member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (MISCP).
