I attended appointments with Cindy both in person and virtually for a few years during some very difficult times for me personally. I found her to be so kind and understanding. She listened without judgement and really ensured I felt heard. This meant a lot to me. She also allowed me to see how I could move forward and make changes in both my personal and professional life. She enabled me to look at how certain patterns I was in might be no longer serving me and helped me find ways to change these. I feel very lucky to have found Cindy when I did and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Difficult to put into words how much Cindy helped me to get my mental health back on track.. always empathetic, listening, kind + I always felt I could discuss my issues freely + without judgement. Cindy was able to give me homeopathic remedies along the way to help which I found fantastic.

Cindy’s approach is both caring and professional. Cindy was able to empathise with how I felt and how it was impacting my personal life, and then provide me with practical advise that helped me to understand my thought process and stop my anxiety from overwhelming me. Cindy would also share her deep knowledge and understanding with me, which meant I not only had the practical skills to overcome my anxieties, but I could understand them at a deeper level which was crucial for me

"MIND YOURSELF"

"MIND YOURSELF"

“Bye now. Mind yourself,” is a phrase commonly used by Irish people and one I both hear and say almost daily. I wonder how much we really hear the last part of that sentence. We are taught from a young age how to ‘mind’ ourselves, in the sense of how to take care of our day-to-day needs. We learn how to feed and dress ourselves, how to look out for danger, how to ask for help if we need it. If we were lucky it was deemed acceptable to make certain demands as children and teenagers.

The inner critic

The inner critic

We all know it. We all hear it. It scolds “I’m so stupid. Why did I say that? Why didn't I do better? I should have done things differently. I am a failure.”How harsh is that? These things we tell ourselves very often wouldn’t dream of saying to anyone else. When a thought contains the word 'should' - that’s often the critical voice. So, who’s voice is this? “Mine of course,” you might be thinking. But it’s not. This voice has been absorbed since you were a child, like an insidious little recordi

The Carer Archetype: When Helping becomes Harmful

The Carer Archetype: When Helping becomes Harmful

The Carer. The Fixer. The Rescuer. It is one of the most common archetypes I see in practice, one I am personally well acquainted with and is deeply embedded in our Irish culture. Carl Jung described archetypes as universal patterns of behaviour and belief that live in the collective psyche. The Carer is one of the most praised—and least questioned—of them all. And yet, when it runs unchecked, it can quietly destroy a life.Where the Carer Comes FromBecoming a carer often starts with a simple beli
