Dr. Ciara Mulvihill

Dr. Ciara Mulvihill is a Specialist Oral Surgeon with a career grounded in clinical expertise, academic excellence, and professional leadership. A graduate of Cork University Dental School and Hospital, she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours, receiving multiple awards for academic distinction, including the UCC College Scholar Award and a Gold Medal.

After completing her vocational training in the UK and obtaining Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF RCS Eng), Dr. Mulvihill returned to Ireland to pursue specialist training. She completed a Clinical Doctorate in Oral Surgery with First-Class Honours at Dublin Dental University Hospital and was awarded a Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Dr. Mulvihill has held key clinical roles in both Cork University Hospital and Dublin Dental School and Hospital, where she now provides specialist Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine services to patients referred by dental and medical colleagues. In addition to her clinical work, she contributes to the education of dental students and serves on the committee of the Irish Association of Oral Surgeons, playing an active role in the development of the profession. Her dedication to patient care, education, and research underpins her standing in the field.
