Ms Chiara Triffiletti

Chiara Triffiletti is a fully qualified child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a background in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She is a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI), a full member of the Irish Forum for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (IFCAPP), and a member of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP). She works within a psychoanalytic psychotherapy framework with children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents or carers.

She has clinical experience supporting children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). During her training at St Louise’s Alder’s Unit, she worked with children and families affected by sexual abuse.

Her clinical work includes supporting individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, separation anxiety, and attachment-related difficulties. She provides psychotherapy in both English and Italian.

In addition to individual work with children and young people, she incorporates parental involvement within the therapeutic process. This includes parental support and ongoing feedback where appropriate within the treatment framework. Her practice involves working with developmental, relational, and emotional difficulties across childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood.
