Client Focus
I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space for individuals seeking therapeutic support. I hold a BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School and I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
My core training is rooted in the person-centred and humanistic approach to therapy but i believe that therapy should always be led by the client, with the therapist remaining open-minded and responsive to each individual’s unique experiences, needs, and pace. My work is guided by the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients and presenting issues, including addiction, ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship difficulties, stress, trauma and PTSD, as well as supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt my approach thoughtfully while remaining grounded in empathy and authenticity.
I believe that therapy is dedicated time for the client – a space to explore feelings, thoughts, and experiences, whether rooted in the past or present. I supports clients in understanding issues that may be affecting their personal relationships, daily life, or contributing to anxiety, low mood, or emotional distress.
Above all, I am committed to offering a calm and compassionate environment where clients can work through difficult emotions at their own pace, with the aim of easing anxiety, reducing emotional pain, and fostering greater self-understanding. I believe therapy is for everyone, and that everyone is deserving of care, understanding, and support.

Having never had therapy before, I found Brian to be very professional in his approach with me. Brian is a calm and pleasant person. He supported my therapy journey over the weeks. He gave me space to express my thoughts and allowed me to process my feelings. I felt I was listened to completely on my visits. This helped me to speak, think and reflect on my thoughts, during my weekly visits. Each discussion with Brian built my mental strength with small and subtle prompts by him. My voice being heard helped me to move forward each time. I feel better in myself and my brain is not in a constant spin.
