Dr Arslan Sohail

Dr Arslan Sohail is a Consultant Geriatrician and General Physician holding dual specialist accreditation in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He provides comprehensive specialist care for older adults across acute hospital and post-acute healthcare settings, with particular expertise in stroke care, cognitive assessment, and general gerontology.

Dr Sohail completed his higher dual specialist training in General and Geriatric Medicine in the Republic of Ireland. He holds a Diploma in Geriatric Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dementia from the University of Hull, UK. Demonstrating his standing in the field, he has been awarded Fellowships of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP Glasgow).

He holds a substantive Consultant Geriatrician appointment with the Health Service Executive (HSE), practicing across Naas General Hospital and Peamount Healthcare. Deeply committed to medical education, Dr Sohail is a certified RCPI trainer, actively involved in delivering and supervising Basic Specialist Training (BST) and Higher Specialist Training (HST) for future physicians.
