Ms Anne Lynch is a qualified therapist and a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), with almost ten years of experience supporting adults in Wexford. She holds a BA in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy and is committed to providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, respected and supported.
Anne offers a warm, grounded and collaborative approach, tailoring each session to the individual needs of the person in front of her. She works with clients to explore the issues that may be impacting their wellbeing, helping them gain clarity, build coping skills and move towards positive, meaningful change. Her therapeutic style blends practical tools—such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and structured coping strategies—with deeper exploratory work informed by Gestalt and Person-Centred approaches, depending on what best serves the client at any given time.
Her practice is based in a private setting in Wexford town, designed to offer a calm and supportive environment. Anne provides flexible appointment options, including daytime, evening and Saturday sessions, with the choice of in-person, online or phone appointments to accommodate different schedules and accessibility needs.
Across all her work, Anne’s focus remains on creating a safe therapeutic relationship where clients can speak freely, explore challenges at their own pace and feel genuinely supported on their personal journey.

I found anne very easy to open up to, I felt in a good safe environment and I got very helpful feedback. Would definitely recommend
Anne is amazing to work with. She has a calming energy and is a great support in helping to unpack issues to allow for clarity and understanding.
Personally I had a very traumatic experience with the passing of my dad through suicide. I was in a very bad place mentally and consistent flashbacks of the trauma. I was struggling to sleep and didn’t know how to deal or cope with the situation and I was revered to Anne. I was skeptical at first but after my first visit Anne made me feel normal and that it was ok to feel the way I was feeling and it was perfectly ok be struggling the way I was. Anne was great to talk to. Anne thought me was of dealing with my anxiety and panic attacks. She explained to me that my trauma will not just vanish that I will have to face it head on and not let it slid under the radar and that is exactly what I did with Anne’s amazing help and advice. At first I honestly dreaded the thought of having to go in and talk about it all because I was afraid of crying and feeling the raw emotions of it all, the stigma of men shouldn’t cry and that they had to be tough and strong but Anne helped me realise that there is nothing wrong with crying and showing my emotions. Due to the help from Anne I have made huge steps foward to getting back to myself. I now really look foward to my counselling sessions with Anne and sometimes where I feel that I am ok and don’t need a session I still like to go because Anne has made it feel like such a safe space for me now to talk about anything I want to. I have laughed, cried and been my most vulnerable during my counselling with Anne and as I said above I have come so far on my journey and all with the help of Anne. Myself, my partner and my family are so grateful to...
Read moreMy sessions with Anne leave me refreshed; she helps me to break down the issue or worry into smaller parts, which I have struggled to do on my own. She is patient, and allows me the time to get the jumble of thoughts out before helping me organise them.
Anne is an exceptional professional who has provided me with vital support and guidance over the last year and a half. Her ability to create a safe, constructive environment for working through challenges is unmatched. I am incredibly grateful for her role in helping me regain my confidence and perspective; I cannot recommend her highly enough for her expertise and dedication
Anne is extremely welcoming and kind. She has a very calming space and she makes you feel safe and heard. She is an excellent therapist and has helped me tremendously.
Anne is one of the kindest, understanding, open minded, and most empathetic people I have ever met. She has always provided a safe environment where I can tell her anything without any judgement. She listens and 100% hears what I say but can also pick up on what I may not say. She guides me to finding answers and helps by giving me the tools I need to get to the root of a problem instead of just telling me what to do . I always leaving feeling seen, heard, supported, validated in how I am feeling, and like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.. We have worked through many issues together and I can honestly say I am a better person after finding and talking my problems/issue through with her. I could not recommend anyone better.
