Dr. Anna Beattie

Dr. Anna Beattie is a highly qualified Oral Surgeon with a commitment to patient care and education. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Science degree with first-class honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2003. After a year as a house officer at the Dublin Dental Hospital, Dr. Beattie gained experience in general dental practice in both Ireland and the UK.

Her expertise further developed during her five years at the Oral and Maxillofacial Unit in Newcastle, North East England, where she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation from Newcastle University. She then returned to Dublin for three years of specialised training in Oral Surgery at the Dublin Dental Hospital, earning a Clinical Doctorate in Oral Surgery.

Following her specialist training, Dr. Beattie became a Fellow of the Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She now holds a teaching position at the Dublin Dental Hospital, sharing her knowledge and skills with the next generation of dental professionals.

As a registered specialist oral surgeon with the Irish Dental Council, Dr. Beattie is a provider with major health insurance providers including VHI, AVIVA, GloHealth, and Laya. She understands that surgical procedures can be intimidating for patients, so she is dedicated to making the process as comfortable as possible, offering comprehensive treatment plans and the option of conscious sedation to ease any anxiety.
